When Things Don’t Go As Planned

I must admit, things rarely work out the way I plan.

And after many years of struggling against this truth, I have embraced it with gusto.

Actually, I am grateful things don’t go the way I plan, they usually work out much better then I can anticipate.

But the other day took me out of my comfort zone. Not only did things not go the way I planned, they weren’t even close.

After starting my day with The Power Start (from the Success System), I had a clear vision of what I intended to do and the focus to know how to achieve it. That feeling was short-lived.

My inner-Millionaire had different plans.  He was guiding me in a completely opposite direction.

Instead of working on one thing, I found myself out in nature, day-dreaming and, at times, feeling a little unproductive.

It’s funny, isn’t it, that most people work their whole lives to eventually live a life of leisure, but when they get there, they don’t know what to do with themselves.

Well, for a brief time, I found myself experiencing some of the same emotions.

Only briefly though.

New members in our programs are taught a secret technique to deal with this type of situation. Have you ever taken a day off or found yourself doing the exact opposite of what you planned?

It may have felt uncomfortable. The trick is hanging in there long enough to allow your inner-Millionaire to reveal its  intentions.

You see, a couple hours into my day I had a vision.

A challenge I have been working on had caused a bit of congestion in me and I found myself at a plateau.

What I apparently needed was a little space from it to “allow” the higher intelligence to guide me.

When the time was right (and I knew beyond doubt it was) I raced back to my office and worked like a madman.

No, I wasn’t stressed, I was inspired.

This personal development work I do; helping others discover their passion, get out of their own way and make a lot of money doing it, is my purpose.

The breakthrough I was looking for has to do with a soon to be revealed new program. I was buzzing!

So, sometimes thinks don’t go as we plan.

Thank God (whatever that means to you). I’m grateful things don’t go as I plan.

Could you imagine the frustration you would feel attempting to direct and control your world? How could you ever anticipate all the people, circumstances, opportunities and lessons that pop into your life?

Remember, sometimes good things don’t happen to allow great things to occur.

To Your Millionaire!
